Bergurand Condo 515-516. This is a Ski-in & Ski-Out Golf & Ski Condo at Schuss Village -- 2 Bedrooms + Loft - 2 Baths - Sleeps 8. The living room has a two-story vaulted ceiling with a small loft space that overlooks the living area. This condo has two bedrooms and two baths and sleeps eight comfortably in four queen size beds and a possible ninth on a single sleeper sofa in the loft area (however, it's really only suitable for a small child as the springs are not very good).
Two TV’s with cable let the adults and kids spread out after a long day on the ski hill, golfing, or just good family fun (one TV in the living area; one in the first floor bedroom). Please view all the photos - this is our family-friendly, budget condo that sleeps up to 8 (possibly 9) people, is right at the bottom of the ski hill, but does not have quite the same luxury feel as our Cortina (right at the bottom of the ski hill as well) or Vista Del Verde II (about 1/4 mile from the ski hill) condos. The Cortina and Vista Del Verde do not sleep as many people; however, they have larger living areas. The Bergurand sleeps more people and has a great location, but has a smaller living area (see photos). The Bergurand represents an amazing value... at only $125/night midweek that can be less than $14 per person per night!
The downhill skiing, tubing and snowboarding are great! Schuss Mountain offers 46 runs and all are just steps from the room. This condo is walking distance to the Schuss Mountain ski hill: only about 100 steps so we call it Ski-in and Ski-out. Five quad chairs on Schuss Mountain make waiting in line a thing of the past. Children's programs are available as are ski lessons for all. At Schuss Village there are two pools (indoor and outdoor) and a hot tub & sauna. Ivan's restaurant overlooks Schuss Mountain and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks and also houses a full service bar.
Schuss Village has live entertainment in the evenings at Ivan's. Hansel Lodge contains a convenience store and ski shop. Don't forget to take the horse-drawn sleigh ride (please phone the resort to confirm availability at 866.901.3150. There are casinos near by in Traverse City and Petoskey. Torch Lake is one of the 10 most beautiful lakes in the world according to National Geographic.
A shuttle stop is also located near the condo allowing you to travel to anywhere in the entire resort with ease.
